A lot of us converged at mom’s house in NC this labor day weekend. This is the house I grew up in. It’s out in the country and a still a great place to get the families together.
My brother and I got all the jobs done on momma’s worklist in the morning and we spent the rest of the time visiting and letting the kids play outside, yea I know, playing outside, do kid’s do that anymore?
I cooked up three different kind of ribs on the grill in the evening while Kurt and Ben, my brothers in law, and I enjoyed cigars and solving the worlds problems. We finished the cigars but didn’t make too much progress saving the world.
Enjoy the pics

sounds like it was a good visit… i would have been there too except i didnt know that Labor Day, a day from a holiday of labor, is code for actually working it.
