Last week, Robyn and I went to see my old high school buddy Jim Weatherford. People thought we were brothers back then and we’ve got more good memories from those few years than a lot of people do in twenty years.
He is retired from the Army and building his business as a contractor for military intelligence contracts overseas.
It was so good to see him after probably fifteen years and to meet his wife and sweet little Hannah his daughter.
We spent our time checking out the Tampa area and just hanging out. We saw the fireworks on the fourth and saw even more when we got back to his house. Evidently, farmers can buy comercial size fireworks down there to drive birds from their fields and some of them decided that needed done on the fourth also.
